Worry About Developing Yourself on the Inside Before the Outside

However, many people tend to build the image of themselves on the outside first then wonder why they feel so empty, lost, and alone on the inside. Being developed on the inside and outside is amazing when you are able to show who you truly are and not who others want you to be. However, knowing the real you beings with spending quality time with yourself and finding out the personality traits, likes and dislikes, etc that make you who you are.

Developing yourself on the inside first is so important because it allows you to be able to withstand anything. For example, if you are self-aware and can spend time with yourself, you are less likely to be depressed because you know what makes you happy. Knowing yourself means you will always have a safe place to come back to inside yourself when the people or things around you disappoint.

In addition, when you have developed your character on the inside you will realize that it shows on the outside. That inner energy that you possess will help you attract the kind of people that you want around you and in you life. However, you have to stay true to yourself in order to gain the people in your circle that suit who you truly are.

Inside Development= knowing what makes you happy, sad, powerful, grateful, and safe as well as the things that you like, dislike, and except for yourself

Outside Development= your appearance and energy based off of who you are on the inside; the way you dress, the way you talk, how you expect people to treat you, etc.

When you can show who you are in the inside on your outside appearance, you will attract and be attracted to the people and resources that truly suit you. Most of the time, people come to this realization as they get older and more mature; however, a lot of heartbreaks and hard lessons learned can be avoided if you learn to stay true to yourself from the beginning.

Developing yourself on the inside first will allow you to feel whole, happy, and safe. It will also allow you to be able to see through forms of control that are set up all throughout the systems we live within.
